Statement summary
Commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across knsol.com.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. This statement applies to every page of knsol.com.
Measures taken
Accessibility is built into the design system behind knsol.com.
A “Skip to content” link comes first, and every page has clear header, navigation, main and footer regions.
Mega menus, the mobile menu, tabs, accordions and forms can all be used without a mouse.
A clear outline shows where you are as you move through a page with the keyboard.
Text and background color pairs are checked against the WCAG contrast ratios.
If your device asks for less motion, animations and smooth scrolling are switched off.
Every field has a visible label, and errors are listed in a summary at the top of the form.
Informative images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
